VINTAGE RING WITH NATURAL RUBY AND DIAMONDS – AMERICAN MANUFACTURE 1950s A beautiful ring from American jewelry of the 1950s, embellished with a spectacular ruby in the center and a rich setting of diamonds. The design of the upper part is intricate and rich in worked elements, with the ruby in the center and diamonds arranged around it to create an elegant ensemble. At the center is set a natural oval brilliant-cut ruby of approximately 1.20 ct, accompanied by a GIA certificate, with an intense red hue and exceptional color saturation. The central gem is held by four prongs that keep its profile free and enhance the oval shape of the cut. Around the ruby are set natural round brilliant-cut diamonds of various sizes, incorporated into the various elements of the setting and also distributed along the sides. The white gold setting features a particularly rich openwork design, with ornamental elements, worked surfaces, and millgrain finish. The open structure of the lower part allows observation of the internal craftsmanship of the setting, an element that contributes to the technical and collectible interest of the jewel. The diamonds reach a total carat weight of over 1.50 ct and complement the ruby with a significant presence, maintaining the right balance between the central gem and the surrounding structure. The combination of craftsmanship, the different sizes of the diamonds, and the intricate design makes this ring particularly representative of American jewelry from the 1950s.
