BAND RING WITH BAGUETTE AND ROUND BRILLIANT DIAMONDS – LUMINOUS ARCHITECTURE OF THE 70s
This ring stands out for its strong visual presence and its rich construction, where the diamonds are arranged on multiple levels in an orderly and continuous manner.
The effect is full and compact, with a luminous surface that appears uniform yet articulated in its details.
At the center, a continuous band of natural baguette-cut diamonds arranged vertically develops, placed with extreme precision.
The stones are set with a high-level, perfect setting, with thin side walls that secure them without interrupting the surface.
This system allows for a compact and uniform line, where the step cut provides more controlled and directional brilliance.
Complementing this central band are two parallel rows of natural round brilliant-cut diamonds, one above and one below.
Here, the setting is in prongs, with regular and well-distributed points that highlight each stone.
These rows introduce a brighter, more diffused light, creating a direct contrast with the linearity of the baguettes.
On the lower part, an additional band composed of horizontally arranged baguette-cut diamonds is added.
Unlike the central band, these stones are individually set with small, forward-facing prongs, creating a well-defined rhythmic sequence.
The change in orientation between vertical and horizontal baguettes builds a more articulated structural effect and emphasizes the complexity of the design.
The upper part follows a slight dome, conforming to the natural curve of the finger, while the entire ring maintains a significant and uniform thickness.
All settings are consistent with each other, with clean transitions between the different levels and precise stone alignment.
The central baguettes define the structure, the brilliant cuts add luminous vibration, and the lower baguettes introduce rhythm and depth.
